Imogene Franks Turpen was born April 12, 1926 in Sherman, TX. She passed away December 21, 2020 in Whitesboro, TX at the age of 94.
Survivors include: daughter, Sandra Everett of Whitesboro; daughter, Gayla Grant and husband, Wayne of Bogalusa, LA; daughter, Deanna Singleton and husband, Gregory of Plano, TX; son, Jimmy Turpen and wife, Julie of Gainesville, TX; daughter, Loretta Lambert of Whitesboro; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Turpen was preceded in death by: parents, Samuel and Lina Franks; husband, James Woodrow Turpen; son, Larry Dale Turpen; daughter, Angela Sue Byers; brother, Howard Franks; and sister, Geraldine Huffhines.
Graveside services under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home were held at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.
