Graveside services for Jackie "Jack" Lynn Branch, 70, of Gainesville, are set for 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Collinsville Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Davis officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville.
Jackie was born on October 29, 1948 in Gainesville to Allen A.J. "Mutt" Branch and Nannie Bell Cannon Branch. He passed away on January 1, 2019 in Gainesville.
Jackie had various jobs throughout his life, but his passion was working with cattle. He never met a stranger, and a stranger never forgot him. His laughter and joy was contagious, and he always knew how to bring a smile to everyone. His pride and joys in life were his three daughters, and especially his grandchildren.
He is survived his daughter Elisha Parsons and her husband Dustin of Sadler; daughter Nancy Wade and her husband Ben of Gainesville; daughter Chasity Branch and her husband Darrel of Gainesville; grandchildren Koby Parsons, Kaleb Parsons, Devon Johnson, Jordyn Warren, and Destiny Johnson; and many family and friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Freddie Robeson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitesboro ISD FFA.
