Jane Wright

Jane Wright, 86, of Gainesville, Texas passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Pecan Tree Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Jane was born on March 18, 1939, in Fouke, Arkansas to Clifton and Valrie (Walls) Easley. She was raised alongside six brothers, growing up in a close-knit family that shaped her lifelong devotion to faith and family.

On May 4, 1957, she married the love of her life, Hubert Wright Jr. As a devoted pastor’s wife, Jane faithfully served beside Hubert, pouring her heart into choir, women’s ministry and Vacation Bible School.

Jane was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-  grandmother. She treasured time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, running 5Ks, gardening, playing dominoes and spending time at the Stanford House. Her joyful presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her brothers: Roy Easley and wife Linda; Clovis Easley and wife Donna; Johnny Easley and wife Teresa; Ricky Easley and wife Nancy, and sister-in-law Annette Easley. She is also survived by her daughters, Debbie Stobaugh and husband Tim, and Nancy Green; grandchildren, Craig Stobaugh, Edward Green and wife Sarah, Rachel Bowles and husband Daniel, and Bailey Willeford and husband Tyler; great-grandchildren, Molly Stobaugh, Clancy Bowles, Cash Bowles and Conway Bowles; and great-great-grandchild Leddy Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Valrie Easley; her beloved husband, Hubert Wright Jr.; her brothers, JC Easley and Wilburn Easley; and her grandson, Kyle Green.

Jane’s life was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, and dedication to family. Her legacy will continue to live on in the generations she cherished so dearly.

The family will receive visitors at First Baptist Church of Gainesville on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Langley officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
