Jeff Douthit

Jeffery Douglas Douthit, 38, of Gainesville, passed away October 6, 2018 in Gainesville.

Jeff was born February 11, 1980 in Muenster to Jim and Jeanne (Watkins) Douthit.  He was a graduate of Gainesville High School.  Jeff worked in the oil field and as a carpenter.  He loved movies and caring for his son Reece.  As a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and nephew, he will be sorely missed.

Survivors include: parents Jim and Jeanne Douthit of Gainesville; sister Jennifer Douthit of Hilton, OK; brother Jimmie “Bo” Douthit and wife Maisoun of Gainesville; brother Jarred Douthit and friend Cindy Hogan of Gainesville; nieces and nephews: Zoey, Hartlee, Rekker, Riott, and Leland; aunt Timmie Atkinson of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt Judy Roberts of Gainesville; cousin Sarah Moster of Gainesville; and son Reece Burks.

Jeff was preceded in death by: grandparents Walter and Pat Watkins; grandmother Ruby Walker; and cousin Nick Moster.
