Jerry Leroy Henderson

Jerry L. Henderson passed away November 9, 2024 at his ranch in Thackerville, OK.  Jerry was born on January 13, 1947 in Gainesville, TX to LeRoy T. and Marjorie Sweet Henderson.  He attended and graduated from Gainesville High School.  He enlisted in the US Navy in January 1966.  He served aboard the USS Mansfield and Patrol Craft Fast -97 (Swift Boat), during the Vietnam War.  He was honorably discharged in August 1969.

Jerry became the Executive Director of the Gainesville Housing Authority in 1976 and served in that capacity until his death.
