Jo Clark

Funeral services for Billye Jo Clark, 72, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 16 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clark passed away May 13, 2019 in Gainesville.

Jo was born January 1, 1947 in Gainesville to Bill and Betty (Lawrence) Woods.  She pursued her love of cooking by opening The Fried Pie Co., an iconic Gainesville staple which she operated for 32 years.  She also loved shopping and, most of all, her family.

Survivors include: son Donovan Clark and wife Angela of Gainesville; grandchildren: Erik, Brittani, Topher, Bianca, and Nick; two great-grandchildren; and sister Nina Allen of Lindsay.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by: her parents; husband Bobby Clark; and sister Linda Smith.
