Josey "Jojo" Morrell

Josey Ryan Morrell, known as JoJo by many, age 12, of Valley View, passed away January 27, 2022.

Josey was born November 5, 2009 in Denton, TX.  He was a sixth-grade student of Valley View Middle School.  Josey loved fishing, playing video games, and reading, especially Harry Potter novels.  He was a bright light to many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include: parents, Sammie and LaDona (Warsop) Morrell; brother, Layton Morrell; sister, Leona Morrell; brother, Wyatt Morrell; grandfather, Henry Whitenack of Sanger; uncle, Shane Warsop and wife, Hailey of Fairbanks, AK; aunt, April Morris and husband, Jeff of Minot, ND; and a host of beloved extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Josey is scheduled for 6:00 P.M. on Monday, February 7, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Valley View.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Arrangements are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
