Judy Carol Beaver

A graveside service for Judy Carol (Moss) Beaver, 80, of Whitesboro, is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Fairview Cemetery with Chaplain Mark Fletcher officiating. A visitation will be held at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral home on Friday, Sept 5, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Beaver passed away August 31, 2025 in Gainesville. She was born March 2, 1945 in Gainesville, to Winifred Leon and Margaret Jane (Gerneth) Moss.

Judy graduated from Gainesville High School in 1963. She worked as a bookkeeper at Era ISD, owner operator of the Callisburg Store, owner operator of Beaver Western Store, and Realtor for Ebby Halliday. She also served as substitute for Gainesville ISD. Among the many fulfilling roles she has held in her life, being a devoted mother and grandmother was the most enjoyable and most important. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Mrs. Beaver never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing when she could and also, she would spend her free time searching out garage sales and estate sales.

Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Kevin Leon and Sonya Ford; son and daughter-in-law Kyle Lee and Mandy Ford; grandchildren Cody and his wife Jenna Ford, Caleb Ford, Bridger Ford, Delaney Ford; great-granddaughter Wren Ford; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Susan Moss; brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Dana Moss; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beaver was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Anndrea Lee Ford; sister Phyllis Diane Moss Smothers. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents William Babe and Irene Gerneth and her fraternal grandparents Noah and Myrtle Moss.
