Lanny Mark Secrest

Graveside services for Lanny Secrest, 60, of Whitesboro, are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Jason Hobbs officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Secrest was born February 7, 1959 in Gainesville to Merle and Betty (Mangum) Secrest.  He passed away on November 30, 2019 in Sherman.

Survivors include: mother Betty Secrest of Gainesville; sister Verna Worthey and husband Junior of Whitesboro; sister Penny Secrest of Gainesville; brother Doug Secrest and wife Judy of Lindsay; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew.

Mr. Secrest was preceded in death by: father Merle Secrest; and brother Buck Secrest.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
