Leo Lawson

Aubrey Leo Lawson was born to Elvie and Cassie Lawson on April 12, 1925, and passed away on April 13, 2020, from Covid-19.  He was 95 years and 1 day young.

Leo was a Veteran of WWII where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart.  Upon returning to the states, he worked over 30 years in the oil field.  His favorite pastimes were camping and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: daughter Margaret Ann Nelson (Jim), son Jimmy Lawson (Christina), grandson Shannon Brown (Keatha), and great-grandsons Zachery and Jeremy.

Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mildred Walterscheid Lawson.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
