Linda Sue Williams

Linda Sue Williams was born on July 18, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Van and Irene Payne. She married Woodrow (Woody) Williams Jr. on October 2, 1980. She and Woody traveled far and wide, made wonderful memories, and shared a blessed and beautiful life together.

Linda had two children, Kristen Hill and husband Brett, Brad Ervin and wife Lorraine; grandchildren Mitchell Morrison (Kiley), Miranda Loftus (Sean), Jason Verriere (Jen), Sarah Kuykendall (Hudson), Emily Ervin (Kristian), and Maggie Ervin (Riley) great-grandchildren Maloree, Mercy, Lincoln, Mack, Will, and her bonus daughter/caregiver Liz.

Linda was a phenomenal pianist, often playing for their frequent get-togethers, church services, weddings and funerals, and often just for the enjoyment of playing. She loved her family, friends, good books, travel, gardening, cute frocks, and a pleasing shade of green.

Linda loved the holidays! Her home was a winter wonderland, where her children and grandchildren enjoyed playing with her Dickens Village collection, eating her famous homemade burritos, chicken nuggets, and oatmeal cookies. Linda loved fiercely and prayed hard.

Linda is survived by her husband, children, grand and great-grand-children, her sister Nita (Bill), and nephews Bill, Jon, and Mike, sister-in-law Mickie Williams, niece Laine Wolf (Danny) and their children Vincent and Kendall, as well as a long list of cousins, loving friends, and her beloved pets Zena and Callie.

Services for Linda will be privately held at a later date.
