Mari Carmen Vera DeRocha , 52 , of Gainesville , Texas passed away May 27, 2026 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Denton , Texas surrounded by loved ones. She was born on November 22, 1973 in Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico to J. Carmen Vera Olguin and Remigia Silva Velazquez.
A Rosary and Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 beginning at 6:00 PM at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Gainesville, Texas on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 10:30 AM with Fr. John Pacheco officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
