Maria del Refugio Garcia Puente, 79, of Gainesville, passed away February 8, 2019 in Gainesville. Burial will take place in Tula, Tamaulipas, Mexico at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Maria was born September 30, 1939 in Tula, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Teodulo and Pilar (Puente) Garcia.
Survivors include: daughter Maria Paz Cruz; daughter Diana Cruz; son Francisco Cruz; daughter Maria Lara Cruz; mother Maria Del Pilar Puente; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Maria was preceded in death by: husband Pedro Cruz Jasso; son Cirilo Cruz Garcia; son Raymundo Cruz Garcia; and father Teodulo Garcia.
