Mike Hudspeth

Funeral services for Mike Hudspeth, 60, of Forestburg, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Forestburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Parr officiating.  Interment will follow at Perryman Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 10 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Hudspeth passed away January 7, 2021 in Forestburg.

Mike was born February 5, 1960 in Ardmore, OK.  He graduated high school in Duncanville, TX.  While a teenager in Duncanville, Mike’s involvement in football and weight lifting started him on a path to pursue his dream of being a professional wrestler.  For 16 years, Mike traveled the world with the World Wrestling Federation, competing as Mike Reed.  He married Vickie Cole on February 14, 2009 in Forestburg.  Mike appreciated many kinds of music.  Described as a big guy with a big heart, Mike loved his family and friends deeply.

Survivors include: wife, Vickie Hudspeth of Forestburg; brother, Brian Hudspeth and wife, Stacie of Forestburg; nieces and nephews: Lourissa, Savanah, Cody, and Naomi; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mr. Hudspeth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Hudspeth.
