Percival "Ray" Duckworth

It is with great sadness that the family of Percival Ray Duckworth announces his passing on July 17, 2025, at the age of 88 at his home in Gainesville, Texas. He is survived by his five daughters Debbie, Linda, Karen, Lori, and Kathy, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, 602 Lindsay St. Gainesville, TX 76240 on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 10:00am.

Born in 1937, Ray lived a long, full life filled with good times and bad. One good time in particular, was the day that his late wife, Janet, asked him to marry her. They are now together again on that grassy hill where she has been waiting for his arrival. We miss you so much. Until we all meet again.
