Rosina A. Kubis

Rosina Agatha (Hellinger) Kubis, age 75, resident of Lindsay, TX, passed away February 10, 2026 in Gainesville.

Rosina was born February 22, 1950 in Muenster, TX and she attended school in Gainesville. She married Gilbert Kubis in Lindsay, TX and the couple spent 47 years together before Gilbert’s passing in 2021. Mrs. Kubis served as activity director of St. Richard’s Villa in Muenster before caring for patients at Muenster Memorial Hospital as a certified nurse’s aide, a job she was extremely proud of and held for over 20 years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and attending their activities. She also loved fishing and caring for her cats and dogs.

Predeceased by: parents Paul and Marcella (Knabe) Hellinger; husband Gilbert Kubis; son Ronnie Kubis; brother Paulie Hellinger; sister Monica Theobald; and brother Mark Hellinger.

Survived by: son Mike Kubis (Coy Lynn) of Gainesville; son Chris Kubis (Candise) of Muenster; daughter Theresa Dee (Ed) of Sanger; grandchildren: Nicholas Kubis (Lindsey), Trevor Kubis, Devon Kubis (Haley), Cole Kubis, Casey Bayer, Alaina Kubis, Audrey Kubis, Preston Kubis, Alexander Dee, and Sarah Dee; great-grandchildren Blakely Kubis and Leon Kubis; brother Herman Hellinger of Gainesville; daughter-in-law Wendi Kubis; and sister Rita Burgett of Gainesville.

A Prayer Service, with visitation to follow, is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, February 16, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lindsay. A committal service will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lindsay.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church or Subiaco Academy.
