Sandra Ann Richardson

Sandra Ann (Boland) Richardson, 65, of Lake Kiowa, Texas passed away August 3, 2026 at North Texas Medical Center of Gainesville, Texas surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 15, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia to Clarence Alfred and Dorothy Margaret (Reid) Boland.

Sandy graduated Nursing School from NCTC with her Associates degree of Nursing in 1999. She worked for 25 years as a nurse, the majority of the time was spent as a Nursery Nurse. The final years before retirement were spent as a Postpartum Nurse. Her passion showed through with her care for babies and mothers alike. Sandy married Jackie Richardson on Valentine’s day of 1986. Her hobbies included traveling with her husband, kids, and eventually grand kids. She devoted her time after retirement to her grandkids.

Sandra is survived by her son Derek Richardson and spouse Craig Wilson, and daughter Sara Johnson and spouse Dylan Johnson and grandkids Adalynn, Nadaly, and Everett. Brother Bob Boland and family, brother Richard Boland and family, niece Michelle Benton and family, niece Stephanie Torres and family, niece Bailey Spicer and family.

She was preceded in death by her father Clarence “Red” and mother Dorothy “Dottie” Boland. Husband Jackie Richardson and sister Pattie Allen.

The family will receive friends at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. Interment will be at Rosston Cemetery.
