Funeral services for Sheila R. (Shotwell) Amburn, 66, of Desoto, are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with David Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Sheila was born December 15, 1951 in Gainesville to R.C. and Nettie Rose (Taylor) Shotwell. She passed away September 21, 2018 in Dallas.
Survivors include: husband Irving E. Amburn of Desoto; son John E. Amburn of Desoto; sister Debbe Shotwell Davis and husband Kenneth of Southlake; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Amburn was preceded in death by: parents R.C. and Nettie Rose Shotwell; and brother Ronald C. Shotwell.
