Shirley A. Sims

Shirley Sims, age 87, passed away on January 14, 2026 in Gainesville.

Shirley was born in September of 1938 in Gene Autry, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Yvonne Young.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Sims; son, Steve Harbin; and siblings: Barbara Wishard, Bobby Young, and Carolyn Amoroso of Gainesville, Texas.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, LeAnne Arrigan of Colorado; sister, Bennie Old of Kaufman, Tx; daughter-in-law, Sharon Lewis; grandchildren: Robin and Jeff Edwards, and Ryan and Cale Harbin; great-grandchildren: Gunner and Ryder Edwards of Gainesville, Tx; and many wonderful family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
