Sylvia Ann Vera

Sylvia Ann Vera, 69, of Whitesboro, passed away February 18, 2021 in Whitesboro.

Sylvia was born April 22, 1951 in Brownsville, TX and graduated from Brownsville High School.  She worked for J.C. Penny for many years as a telephone operator and was a skilled painter.

Survivors include: brother Steve Vera and wife Irma of Harlingen; sister Norma Vera Slinker of Whitesboro; nephews: Trinidad Martinez III, Uvaldo Martinez, and Steven Richard Martinez; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ms. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Anita Davila and Uvaldo Reyes Vera.
