Virginia Ruth Hernandez

Virginia Ruth Hernandez, 87, of Gainesville, passed away December 17, 2022 in Gainesville.  She was born May 30, 1935 to Russell Walker and LaVeda McBee in Mill Creek, OK.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her daughters:  Sharon Lackey of Inlet Beach, FL, Linda Stewart of Panama City, FL, and Barbara Martin of Gainesville.  Her grandchildren are Grechen Lackey Taylor, Braxton Martin, Tanner Stewart, and Taylor Stewart Wilson.  Her great-grandchildren are Harrison Lackey, Addyson Stock, Sylvia Lackey, Brynley Wilson, and Cooper Wilson.  She is also survived by her sister Anna (Becky) Chatwell and extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, and grandson Ian Lackey.
