Weldon Cash

Graveside services for Weldon Cash, 98, of Gainesville, are set for 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the Fairview Cemetery with Tom Martin officiating.

Mr. Cash passed away November 30, 2018 in Gainesville.

Weldon was born April 22, 1920 in Gilliland, TX to James Monroe and Minnie Mae (Black) Cash.

Mr. Cash, a strong, Christian man, was completely devoted to his family.  He worked with his hands his entire life in farming and carpentry.  He was a member of Commerce Street Church of Christ.

Weldon is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Danny and Barbara Cash of Perryton, TX; daughter Paula Lones of Gainesville; brother J.M. “Jim” Cash of Crowell, TX; sister Billie Bradley of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cash was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Rubye; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 great-granddaughter.
